For Professionals and Agencies

The Twelve Step Recovery Workshop invites referrals -- and has had referrals -- from therapists, physicians, mental health and social service agencies. Clients may come to our meeting without pre-registration, and/or may call our information line to talk with a group representative.

We understand that a visit to our meeting implies no commitment of interest. Individuals are welcome to stop by any Thursday to see if our group works for them. We also invite therapists and agency representatives to visit our meeting or to call us if they would like more information about our group.

We offer all our services free of charge, so this can be particularly valuable to clients of limited resources. Though the Twelve Step program draws upon a spiritual approach, we respect existing therapeutic relationships. We have often seen clients who are wrestling with seemingly intractable compulsive problems make marked progress when starting to use the Steps. The Twelve Step Recovery Workshop offers a life-long framework for personal growth, group support, and alliance with a Higher Power of your own understanding (no religious beliefs or commitments required).
