How to get started
If you live in the Baltimore area, we encourage you to attend our meeting for a few weeks and see if it's right for you. Feel free to call our information line at 410-880-2439 if you would like to talk to someone individually. We also suggest reading the book Alcoholics Anonymous to help you learn more about the Twelve Step program. We sell the book at cost in our meeting, or you can get a copy through AA.
 
If at some point you become ready to move forward with the Twelve Step program, we also have "sponsors" available. Sponsors are individuals who have worked the Steps and are able to assist you on a one-on-one basis. Their own recovery is benefited by such opportunities to pass on the message.
